I just finished installing my Warn manual hubs on my 94 Ex. Having never used them before, I'm not totally clear on how they operate. Do you still have to push the 4WD button on the dash to engage the transfer case, and then lock the hubs? To engage 4lo, do you still put the tranny in neutral and then push the low range button? What about a break-in period, is there something I need to do before I wheel with them? I'd appreciate any help yall can give me, I'm hoping to go ride a couple trails tomorrow to test out my new Rancho's and the hubs...

Everything you said was correct. Push the button to engage the t-case, neutral for 4low. Just remember to lock the hubs, I tend to forget that part sometimes....and I wonder why I have trouble!
As for breaking them in, I didn't do anything. Good luck with them!

Try not to drive highway speeds with them engaged. I've heard from alot of people that it really messes them up. I know on my older truck I would never drive with them engaged.

i think ford stipulates to not go faster than 55 in 4x4 and never use it on pavement and only 25 in 4-lo......
everything else is the same as with the auto hubs except you have to get out and turn them instead of just pressing the button......

Thanks a lot guys, I'm gonna go test them out a little bit this afternoon (skipping my 1:30 English class to go wheelin'! hehe) and I'll give em a good workout tomorrow :) Wooohooo! New mods rule!
