Hopefully someone can guide me in this. My back hach window has cracked/shattered. Still in frame but could pop out completely anytime. Could anyone provide any info on how my son and I could replace this piece of glass ourselves? I have located multiple replacements from a reclamation yard (junk yard). Please advise as you can. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you figured it out yet, I am assuming you just need the glass replaced. I just replaced on of the hinges on the glass hatch (cheap white metal ford used). Very easy. Basically the glass can be separated from the whole back hatch door. On the inside of the hatch door, remove the plastic trim at the top, and there are two nuts that hold the hinges on. Remove the bolts, then the remove the plastic bolts that hold the hinge to the window (star type plastic bolt, can't remember the size). Then the shocks on the sides simply unscrew from their mount on the door, and on the window, there is a metal clip that you need to remove. Don't know about taking apart the wiring harness for the defrost though.
