Rear hatch window has exposed wiring.

Hi!

I searched everywhere and can't find anything relating to how the wiring running along the rear hatch inside glass is supposed to be. mine has some wires exposed where the protector is supposed to be covering. Can anyone Please give me some guidance?

I just bought a white beauty. Needs some TLC. It had Minnesota plates when I bought it, and it needed new front upper ball joints. thanks to explorerforum I pressed them out and added new for about $30. Thanks for reading!

Hey, them wires just hang there, they are suposed to be inside of one of the black looms.
Mine is also cracked & somehow 2 of the wores are snapped in half.
Its to control the rear wiper, the spray & the defog.
I don't use them at all but noticed they need repair before I blow a fuse from a short.
