Hi all;

For 2000 Mountaineer. I searched archives but couldn't find answer.

I have the fancy radio with RDS. Changed battery today and can't reset clock to correct time. Everything else works fine. Page 63 of my owners manual says:

"PRESS the clock/RDS contol until SELECT HOUR is displayed..."
I've pressed the clock/RDS control but "SELECT HOUR" isn't displayed on the LED display area.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!!!

press select through the options the clock is the last one to appear

I think you have to hold the button for a couple of seconds
Thank you very much for responding. Held button down for over a minute several times. Didn't bring up "Select Hour". Will try w/radio on and will try as poster below noted.

Thank you again.

With the dual media audio system, press the clock/RDS control multiple times until
SELECT HOUR or SELECT MIN is displayed and press:

< to decrease hours and
> to increase hours

or

< to decrease minutes and
> to increase minutes.

You have to do it in accessory position ( key turned back) with radio on and watch display for the proper option. Might work in run didn't try after it worked in accessory position. Good luck.
Reach out if you are having problems.
