I currently have a 3in body lift. On a 03 2wd With 33/11.50/16 and I trimmed some off and still rub. I am lookin at turnin my tosion bars up 1 and 1/2in ( because . I have read anymore will mess up parts) but im wonderinchow you guys are runnin 12.50 wide tires with 16in rims. I know backspacin on the rims hasnsome to do it. Andni have aftermarket wheels now but dont know the stats. On them. So im wonderin what can I do to the front end besides the tt to make sure I can fully tuck a 12.50 wide tire.

On a 2wd you can crank the torsion bars as much as you like since there are no cv joints up front to worry about . Only us 4wd guys have to keeping it under 2". Crank the front up and get some shackles or lift springs for the rear and you should be fine.

What kinda lift springs I wana try and keep my ride quality of possible. And if the torsion bars doesnt work is there anything else I can do for them not to rub

Superlift makes 4" rear lift springs. They make a full lift kit for the truck but its quite expensive.

Is that the only way I can run 12.50 wide cause I aint reallu wantin to lift it up that much more. Cause I know ill wana start tryin ways to tuck 35's and I dont need to do that with how far I drive to work. Is there any other way beside the 4in lift springs to tuck 12.50

Are you rubbing on the front bumper? You don't need more lift to run a wider tire, I think you need to get the right offset rim to fit 12.50 wide tires. After I did a body lift I was able to fit 33's on custom rims with minimal rub on the front bumper at full crank. I did however do a 1 1/2 torsion twist so that the front of my truck would be level with the back, but still rub the same as before. Not enough to worry about though. If you later want to fit 35's then you will have to do a torsion twist and a shackle lift.

Mine rubs were the side cladding tucks back underneath into the fender well. And what kinda offset do I need cause if I get 12.50 tires im going to grt differant rims. And if I go with a 12.50 tire can I go with a 10wide rim or do I need to stay with a 8 wide rim. I dont want it to look stupid cause I got to wide of a rim

So the width isn't the issue, it's the diameter? Maybe a shackle lift and torsion twist would fix your issue. I forgot you are 2wd so you originally sit lower than my truck, so this would make the largest diameter of you tire probably perfectly in line with your side cladding, where since I'm taller the largest diameter of my tire sits below the side cladding so I don't rub. Just a guess though. I know lono has a good thread on how to fit 33's. I'll try to find it. My wheels are 16 X8.5 5-114.30 -6 BKMTXX. So -6 offset and 8.5 wide and my tires are 285/75/16 duratracs. Here is a pic if you want to see if you like the look

Not true, the rule of thumb with TT is "no more than 2" fro 4wd and nor more than 3" for 2wd. There's still balljoints and tie rod ends to worry about screwing up, which are the main reasons not to go too high on either of the IFS setups.

Well do I need to stay wity a 8in wide rim or xab I run a 10 and wgat kinda vaxk spacing rim do . I need

You can run either, 4" bs on an 8" wide wheel is perfect so figure on 4.5-5.5" to work for 10" rim.

Okay well I wasnt ore sure cause I was told a 10in wide wgeel on the 11.50 looked terrible and pushed the side wall out abd u didnt want that look I will get all the stats on the rims im looing at gettin and mak a new thread for yall to tell ne which ones would work best thabks for all the help

Just keep it going in this thread, if you're going to run 11.50 wide tires then I'd stick with 8" wide wheels, they will hold the bead better, especially when air down for wheelin'.

So a 10 in wide wheel wont shove that side wall of the tire out right?

The sidewall will be flatter than if you run an 8" wide wheel. The sidewall will roll more with the 10" rim and not but as soft of a ride or as secure on the rim.

Well guys I guess the wheel and tire combo I'm want in is impossible... because for the type of rims im wanting they all have a backspacing of 4.25 or 4.5.... like I said all im wanting is a chrome 16in
Deep deep deep dish rim but I have looked and looked and looked and can not find one. Like I said right now all I'm runnin is a 3in. Body lift and after trimming I still rub im going to do I 2 or 2.5in torsion twist. And depending on how bad of a squat is gives my truck may put a 1in Shackle in the back to level the back out a little bit just have to wait and see what it looks like. i dont really wana add 3 or 4 more inches of lift to it and i dont really wana run spacers cause of all the bad feedback off of them about brrakin studs or running the lug nuts back out is there any other way of runnin a 12.50 tire

Can you put up a link to the wheels you want?
