How to tell if spring is bad??

On my '92 sport 4x4, I've had this strange "bounce/vibration" that feels like the right front wheel is bouncing (kinda of like the shock is missing) I've got rs5000 rancho's at all corners that are about 6 month's old.
Is this a shock problem? or Is this a spring problem?
I understand that the ex- rides different than other vehicles....but not like a spring board....

first thing i would check would be my shocks you may have bottemed one out and caused it to leak. After checking that I would do a really close inspection of all my pivot bushings (radius arms, ttb pivots, spring perch mounting pads). If everything checks out good, last thing to check is the spring its self. Check it for cracks or uneven compresion. You may also use a floor jack and compair it to the other coil by compresing it with the jack. I hope this helps you out.
