So that part number based on google is the "shark fin with stinger" style antenna. They incorporate one of the antennas for the TCU (cellular modem) used for Fordpass. The "stinger" is actually for AM/FM. The extra maroon connector I believe is the cellular antenna since it's the same color code as the PIFA antennas and the input to the TCU. But the other connector being black doesn't match either of the common shark fins (yellow or blue) so I'm not sure what if any antenna would work. You could replace the cellular model with the PIFA antenna box that older F150s, Fusions etc use but you'd still be left with the possibly non-standard (or new standard I'm not aware of as I do most of my research in the junkyard which hasn't gotten newer stuff yet) connector situation. A lot of people replace the stinger antenna with a very short bullet without much impact to AM/FM reception which may honestly be the most straight forward solution.I’m looking to change the antenna in my 2023 Lariat Maverick to a Sharkfin. I don’t like the look of the mast style.
Any idea what OEM Ford antenna would work best?
Mine has 2 wires a double black and single red MCPT-19G461-FB. Stereo has Sync 3.
