As instructed I am introducing myself and saying hello. My name is Steve and as my user name suggests I have a 2000 Explorer XLT 4x4. It has a V-6 and approximately 170K miles. I bought it in November of 2012. The reason I joined this site is because I need to perform an upper ball joint replacement. As it is approximately 13 years old I imagine I will need help with future repairs. I will search the forum to see what I can find on ball joint replacements. I found a decent video on YouTube last night so it doesn't look like too hard a job. Thanks in advance for the excellent advice I am sure to get here.
