Hello all. I've been creeping the site getting very useful info. I decided to join so I can get some help with my new project. I've got access to two different '97 4 door V8s. Both with transfer case issues, but they cost next to nothing. I just got a 9in rear, Dana 44 front, C6 tranny with np205 (I think) for my 76 shortbed F100, but I want something with more than 2 seats. I'm thinking I'm going to have to remove most of what's under the hood to fit my 400, just not sure how much. Will the trans fit or will I need a body lift? Any help would be much appreciated.
