2002 Explorer XLT 4x4
Hey guys, I'm working on replacing all of my hubs bearings. The hubs that I ordered did not come with hub nuts. I found This -> DORMAN 615220 {#W706540S900} at Rock auto for about 8 bucks. This is the least expensive one that I could find. My question is... Is this hub nut the same for the front and rear? I can't seem to find a different part for the rear, and wanted to double check before I went and ordered them. This is a 2002 XLT 4.0L 4x4. Thanks in advance for the help!

Somebody may have other information but unless you damage them or they are already damaged you can reuse your Explorer hubs - use loctite of course. My F-150 does require the hub/axle nuts to be replaced and are single use only. But I don't believe this is the case with explorers. I sure hope not as mine have been off multiple times recently.

Thanks for the reply. Almost all hub nuts that I have ever come across have been one time use nuts. In my case, the nuts are basically fused to the half shafts because of how rusty they are. This is why I want to replace them.
