Hey to all, first post, despite the extensive information available through this forum I can't determine how much resistance to expect when spinning my front hubs and checking the bearings. There is no slop and everything looks ok, the resistance or drag is smooth and consistent. Should wheel spin freely a couple revolutions after I release it?
Thanks for any help, and thanks Rick and all others for making this such a wonderful forum.

Are you 2WD? Sounds like it's fine to me, you'll know you have a problem when you can wobble the wheel, and you hear grinding or a "huffing" kinda noise while driving, and turning (putting weight on that wheel)

No, it's AWD I think I was just a little paronoid as the MPGs had been terrible as of late, just replaced the egr valve tube, rear wheel seals and bearings and was replacing the lower left ball joint when I had the hub in my hands and was looking it over, hadn't actually had this part out cleaning, checking without the wheel on it before. Anyway both sides are identical in resistance and as mentioned in previous post no slop or contamination so I'll have to find something else to play with.
As for the mileage, the accumulative fixes the last couple days should help.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

Plugs plugs plugs, check/replace them. Also.......... you shouldn't be able to spin either of those front wheels unless the whole front end was jacked up.. or the front driveshaft was dropped..

Storlied, I put the whole truck up, that way I could have the wifey put it in gear and I could check every wheel individually for vibration, noise and brake performance. BB, it was a no-brainer to go elite, wish the government ran as well and was as helpful as this forum. Been using it for years but have been out of work two of last three years so money isn't easy.

How about this cranial cruncher; No problems with brakes at all until pulling hard left and stopping as in pulling into parking spot. At this point pedal goes to floor as though bleeding brakes, can't find any sign of leakage at hoses/calipers but reservoir was bit low.
Otherwise I know all there is to know about my truck except what I can't figure out.
