Hunter Brush Guard

No dice, still spins with any amount of torque. I'm seriously about to pull the entire front end off to install this thing unless someone tells me i'm an idiot and there's a right way to do this :(

Are you using a lock nut? You should be able to get the nut on all the way and tighten it down. Also what kind of lock washed did you get? One of the "star" washers might work better...

Finally got it! The only thing that worked was a serrated face nut like below. Here's the final pic. Thanks for the help!

does this one have the bracket that goes thru the grill?

No. You could fab one up pretty easily though. They aren't made for pushing or any severe brush, but still get light branches out of your way on the trail just fine.

I think ill shell out the cash for a lil better one...ive seen these with the bracket....it would help it from bouncing back and fourth when going over bumps...I have an older Manik on my GFs and it irritates me....lol

Well, as long as I've been on here and reading threads about them, I have yet to find one that comes with a brace. The trouble is that there is no where to mount the additional brace. I know the company GoRhino makes a push bar, and they may have the additional brace but I'm not 100% on that. Good luck.
