Ok when ever I put my hvac controls on any setting my batt gauge drops significantly to the low side just before the n in normal and the lights dim. What might cause this? , I have a 130 amp altenator and yes I do have an amp and sub but even with the radio off it still occurs. As soon as I turn the hvac controls off the gauge needle goes right back up and lights go back to normal.

Blower motor?

the blower still works in all settings . is this an indication of an up coming problem or maybe a short in a wire some where?

I'm thinking it's the motor or resistor, though there could be a short. Does it do this on all settings including defrost? You can pull the motor, throw a fused power wire to it and see if it spins fine.
