I have been thinking about putting hydraulics in my truck to raise and lower each wheel and I wanted to know how I would go about doing so and how much it would cost. I wouldn't go crazy and fill my trunk with batteries or have like 20 pumps either.

im pretty sure u cant put hydralics on your 4x4 but not positive

It can be done! You wont be able to go offroad and it will be expensive! I would spent the 5 thousand and do something else! But if you do decide to do it, it does look good. I had a guy that had a 93 Explorer w/ Hydros on it! He could hop the front end! Ouch! Can we say damage?

was your friend's 93 explorer a 4x4? Did he convert it to 2 wheel drive or something?

I wouldn't do the whole kit although that does sound real cool. I just enough to shoot each wheel up or down.

You know I taked to a guy at www.lowriderz.com and he said he can install hydraulics on almost any vehicle. I think I saw the cheapest kit that had only the bare minimum in it for around $1K. www.explorerunderground.com could prolly tell you all about hydros, seems like all the feature trucks have them.
