just wondering who here has hydro ram assist steering?

i have noticed since the 35"s and D44 my steering can be a bit of a handfull off road.... to the point i am verry good at keeping my thumbs out of the wheel... :D

some pic's or info would be nice.... i suppose a port map of the explorers steering box might be a lil much to ask for tho? even a decent pic where the lines run into the box would help tho.....

thinking of something that could be built at home with some basic tool's... welder, tap an die set, general fabrication tool's... i know west texas off-road sell's kit's but the only special part to there kit is the box and possibly a modded pump everything else is off the shelf from a tractor supply store...

BTW my truck see's about 95% dirt and 5% pavement so the verry least of my worries is road manners...

034x4 has it on his Ranger. For some reason I think he's running a Toyota steering box though. You can find out more info in his thread. Also, Rick is running it. Not sure if he's got the stock steering box or not.
