Hypertech power module

I am thing of buying a Hypertech power module for $169 and a Hypertech powerstat (themo stat 160 deg). I live in florida where its warm to very hot. Iam planning to tune the truck in about two to three weeks with Bosch platinum four, and sysn mobil one oil mobil one filter. In the near future i am going to get Pair of headers.
Truck Spec: 91 Explorer 2w dr with a flowmaster and a 95 K&N charger..

Carefull putting in synthetic oil if the truck has high miles and has used mostly coventional oil. It could remove all the built up shmag that the othe oil left behind and clog the oil pump. Watch the oil pressure 2-500 miles after the switch for a drastic drop in presure- ift it does pull over right away or risk putting a new engine in!

Save your money on the Hypertech, they are a waste of money. I would buy the headers over the chip any day. You will be happier with the headers, and see more power.

Thx Guys for the input and I am going to go with the Headers, It may take a bit longer for me to get them but it looks like my best bet. does anyone know where i can get cheap Pair of header..
