well i got home from camping early this morning (i took the subs out so i could sleep better in the back) and accidently forgot to tape the positive and negative speaker wire and they touched...next thing i know there's smoke coming from my amp, and its FRIED...

i am mucho sad

Did that tonite with my connectors going to my CB. Just put it in tonite, and connected one end to the battery, picked up the end with the connectors and the touched for a second. Enough to blow a fuse of course. I have problems with fuses.

But i agree, first time its a mistake, second time your and idiot

Lesson to learn from this experience: fuse everything! I have done that at least twice, but I don't worry about blowing my amp, just my fuses.
