i swapped out my multifunction switch last night (biggest pain in the ass in the world) and i broke one of the "snaps" on one of the connectors/harnesses that plugs into the switch. the other "snap" was still in tact and the harness seemed secure, but i wanted to doubel check around here - is this a big deal? should i have that connector replaced so theres 2 "snaps" instead of just the one, or am i safe to leave it?

thanks.

What mulitfunction switch are you refering too?

the "wipers/turn signals/hazard lights" switch.

If it were me I'd leave it. I think you'd have a better change of a bad connection if you took the thing out and replaced it. Get the one snap snapped, and use some electrical tape or a zip tie and she'll be fine.

ya its a pain. If it connects then tape it on or wire ties or something. Good luck

yeah, really! it took me about a half hour to get that panel below the steering column to sit right.

well, the one snap is secured, the other snap is on there, its just cracked and cant resist much force. the connection seems secure, so ill leave it. if i experience any problems, ill rip it apart later.
