Hallo.

Congratulations for this great site.

I have a Ford Explorer XLT (1992) from five years ago.

I have a brake liquid loose in the brake hose on the driver's side, I need the name in English or help, about a part of the brake system nearly of the brake hose.

This part is where the hose that came from the booster is separated in two brake hoses.

I have photos but i don´t know how atacched it in this message.

Sorry, perhaps my english isn`t good enough. Anybody could help me? Thanks in advance.

I see 3 parts there.

there are two hard brake lines, and a rubber line. The fitting on the rubber line on the dirvers side has a spot for 2 connections. One is from the master cylinder, the other goes to the passenger side.

I believe the part your looking for is a drivers side, rubber brake line. Just make sure your new hose has the fancy connector at the top for both lines.

Around here I can bring in my brake line to a "speed shop" (a store that sells parts for hot rods and high performance vehicles) and they will make me a steel braided brake line with the correct fittings.

I just went outside and looked at the truck.. The fitting is NOT part of the rubber line. I'm not sure what you would call that fitting, but from looking at your picture it looks like your lower hose (rubber) is leaking, not the fitting.

Thanks Mark.

Next monday we'll see if we can make a new part, cause the brake hose doesn´t have the spot that you said.

Thanks again.
