have a 2001 ford explorer sport,V6, 4x4.where is the fuel regulator? on the passenger side towards the back on the top of motor theres a blk plastic part with 2 hoses mounted on a bracket, it looks like a air regulator.....the top turns. part # on top is PP-GF-30...????? thx tim

FPR is in the tank...

Starting in 99, Ford mounted the fpr inside the tank on the sending unit/pump assembly...They also went to a high pressure mechanical returnless fuel system [65-72 psi] with no return fuel line...

I am guessing you have a SOHC engine in that truck but a picture would be nice to look at...
