I GOT MY GREEN BUCKETS- FULL LENGTH CONSOLE!!! WOO

I just won an auction for two more green bucket seats. It only went for 100 dollars plus 85 shipping despite my max bid being $500. I have been looking for them for about 5 months now.

now that i have them i will be able to do a full length center console. i will have the 11" in dash, all audio stuff in the console, air lift gauges in the console, 4" lcd up front in the console for back up camera, and a 6" screen right behind the front armrest for the rear passengers.

i am as excited as i get right now just because i have been looking for them for so long.

yeah, its a huge relief that i'm so far below what i was willing to pay...

i can put that money toward a screen for the back of the console for sure

that has to be the rarest interior color for an explorer. you are the only one i know of that has it... and if it werent for actually seeing pics of it i wouldnt have even believed you. its gonna be killer now that you will have matching rear buckets.

congrats bro.. hehe i didn't think they'd be seats.. I know you and I thought the "surprize" would be something bigger like a conversion kit to turn your explorer to a drop top or Lambo-style doors in front with the suicide doors in the rear. haha but nice seats bro!

Green explorer stuff usually goes pretty cheap on eBay (that I have seen), probably cause not many people have it...

if anyone sees them i might pick up a rear hatch panel, or any of the plastic moldings that sort of hold the carpet down.

I thought you were changing your interior color to blue and white anyway? Where does the stock willow green fit into the picture?

Also, I think the willow green interior is the second rarest behind the even rarer BLUE interior.

Do you guys know if the 40/60 type seat can be mounted in a Sport? If so, I might be interested in your rear seats Expo for when/if I ever get leather fronts. Because I'm sure that there will never be an sports with green leather seats up on Ebay!

as for interior color to blue and white- that fell by the wayside.

now it will be stock green, with the glass stuff painted black with some green/gold accents

yeah, i don't see a problem with it. i already have a white exterior with a green and black interior and that is working out just fine for me.

besides, if it bothers anyone i don't care. i'll take it to shows, but its still not a really a show truck. I will drive it every day even in the winter and i won't care too much what others think (and besides how many people in the upper midwest are gonna be able to speak at all (let alone negatively) when they see my interior finished... jk. the poiint is yeah, i am and i don't see a reason not to.

the exterior is going to be blue and white and maybe a green accent.

the interior will be black, gold, and green.
