I got some directions

on installing my billet grille, and i just have a question. step 2 says "using hacksaw, cut out cross bar section of grille shell as even to the opening as possible." Is this the whole middle of the grille, even the plastic behind the big crossbars with the Ford badge, or just the big crossbars? I just don't want to mess this up. Thanks guys.

What type of billett grille do you have? That may help in getting an answer.
I have a carraige works grille, and it says basicly the same as your directions.
My directions basicly have me cutting just about everything from the center portion of the stock grill off, so I have not done it yet for the same reason as you, I don't wanna mess up, lol.

I'm not sure what company made my grille. I think I'm going to go ahead and just do it.
