I hate weird noises

Well I noticed a few weeks back that I have a slight humming noice coming from my engine bay. It sounds like a vaccum line but this is what it does. If i stay on the gas for a bit and let off (normal or racing) the hummign starts, but if i tap the gas real quick it stops. Now I also noticed my exhaust doesn't sound as loud and i usually get about 160-180m to 1/4 of a tank now i'm getting just about 100-120. any ideas?

don't know about the noise problem, but I know for me NJ the started using oxygenated fuel around thanksgiving and my milage dropped aslo, I had the same problem with my 94 sport and now with my 99 sport


just thought I would give you some info that I have found
