I have the Xcal 3

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer V6

When I hook my Xcal 3 up to program my car,
I get an error(It has 5 unlocks)

Do I need to buy custom tunes,
Or should I go to a dealer
for the work?

Sorry, but what is an XCal 3 is that a computer tuner? Where did you get it from? Did it make a difference?
