I just blew one of my INFINITY Kappa....

Ah ****.

I think I just blew one of my INFINITY Kappa 5x7" 6x8" Car SPEAKERS 572.3cf. Anyone have a similar problem?
When the bass gets up a bit I hear this weird noise.

take out the speaker and check the connections. sometimes the + & - wires or terminals might come in contact

do you hear distortion??? or is it actually blown??

do you have an amp running them??

You'd be smart to high pass the speakers if possible. I'm powering mine off an amp that INCLUDES a high pass xover...try that...WITH the passive xover that comes with the speakers...

Nevermind...

It was just a wire loose. By the way, these speakers are amazing. I am powering them with a california 400 sx AMP.
