I've read all the storage links on the forum. I have the area behind the second seat jammed with stuff. Now I just need a place for these jumper cables. I have a blanket stored over the spare, but those third row seats, which are flat (the whole back area is covered with a Weathertech mat) seem to fit really flush. The blanket fits but I don't know about the cables. And if I did put the cable there, would they make a permanent indentation in the seats? Any other place they might be hidden? Thanks.

Would it be possible to wrap the cables around the spare?

Peter

Ditch the cables and get a battery booster
I second this. I have a small lithium battery jump starter and they are amazing for jump starting vehicles. I have used mine to jump other cars and my own a few times. They can be charged via a 12V socket or by AC adapter. I can charge a phone multiple times with mine or run a laptop etc. They are better than jumper cables because you won't need another vehicle to jump you. These little things can jump start multiple times before they run out of juice. Get one that is highly rated on Amazon because there are a lot of sub par ones for sale.

I don't know about you but I never use the 3rd row seats so I put my jumper cables, portable air pump, tow rope, and a few other things behind the second row seat under the floor of the cargo area. The area that would be the floor for 3rd row passengers

Thanks for the information. I already bought the cables but the battery jump starter makes sense.

Thanks. I never use the 3rd row seats either. I think I do the same thing as you. Are you talking about unhooking the single second row seat, tumbling it forward and then putting your stuff in that area behind the second seats? If not, maybe explain a little more.

That's exactly what I'm talking about

I was going to check the spare area, but before I did that I saw the little compartment in the right rear. I was like, 'No way, will these cables fit.' But I tried it and they did (even in the package). So that's the perfect solution for me. Thanks for all the help.

I even keep a scanner in there for reading codes if they pop up 🤣

I love my Blue Driver ODBII scan. Super small but the app works great. I just keep the dongle in the center console
