I've been a Ford Ranger nut since I've been 16. But just last week I bought my first Explorer. It's a 96 Limited with a V8. I know it's kinda old, but it's in great condition inside and out. I'm loving it! Is there anything I should look out for with this year of Explorer?

Only problem I've had so far is the Lamp Outage Module. My headlights don't work, only the high beams do. But after researching this on the net I notice it's a pretty common problem with this year.

But yeah, Just wanted to say hi, I plan to be on this site a lot. It looks great from what I've seen so far. I'll try post a few pics of my truck later on when I've had a chance to wax it up.. lol

Sorry 96limitedX, I guess it ain't THAT old. LoL

My truck is Black with Grey leather interior. I was surprised that the body is entirely rust free. Only part of the truck with rust issues is the rear bumper. I'm going to have it sandblasted and repainted once the winter passes.

I haven't even begun to think about what I wanna do to it in the future. But I'm sure I'll get some great ideas from this site. I've never seen so many pimped out Explorers in my life!
