I have a pioneer double din radio. I have a 2006 EB without the upgraded sound system.

I messed up... I installed a 4 channel amp. I spliced into the stock wires and soldiered in the spices. I wrapped the splices with electrical tape. Once I was finished I turned on the radio and everything was working fine until I turned up the radio. The speakers stopped working all at once. I realized what my mistake was... I forgot to cut the wires connections at the rear of the radio. Once I cut the wires from the radio nothing changed. I disconnected the amp and reconnected the the factory wires thinking it would fix the problem. I still don't have anything coming from the speakers. At this point I changed the radio back to the stock radio thinking I blew something in the aftermarket radio but the stocker didn't play music either. I checked all the speakers with a 9volt battery and all of them still work. Does anyone have any more Ideas on what I broke?

Fuse on the amp blew probably from looped circuit.

The amp still has power and the small 40 amp fuse is still good. i also checked the fuse on the back of the radio and it's still good as well.

Could i have fried the RCA cable(s) by looping the circuit?

Check your speaker wires. If one is grounding out or touching together, the sound usually goes out but radio still powers up. They will still "pop" when testing with a 9v battery.
