1998 2wd Explorer Sport
Ok guys, im at the point where i am going to be ordering my parts for my lift kit. First off, I have a 98 Sport 2wd with rear mono leaf springs. I have been told by many explorer techs that the mono leafs can be swaped with multipack from the four-doors with no modifacations. Is this true and if so, superlift makes 4 inch lifted leaf springs (01-194) for the 4x4 four doors, and by my understanding, these will fit my explorer sport with no mods. Please tell me if i am correct guys, i dont want to make a massive f#@k up.

Also what do you think of my lift kits that i am going to use.

Front suspension: 3 Inch lift spindles
2 Inch Torsion Twist

Rear Suspension: 4 Inch Superlift Rear spring (01-194)
Warrior Shackles

Wheels and Tires: 17X9 Mickey Thompson Dick Cepek Rims
Pro Comp 35 x 12.5

Please put some input on this, I have really never built a 2 wd lift kit before and i want it to be a stable rig for everyday driving but also to be a prerunner as well.

Thanks Guys and please give me some answers!

Come On guys, let me know what you think about my post!

hmm.....how about 3inch spindles 4-door packs 3in TT and SOA in the rear?....and yes the superlift springs will fit as well as the 4-doors with no modifacations.

If those 4 inch lifted leaf springs are for 2nd generation Explorers, then it should be no problem.
