I need a pic of how the starter solenoid wires up on the fire wall. Im finally getting the X back on the road and this is holding me up. I dont know what wire goes on what end of the switch and the fuseball link etc.

Thanks.

#3 and #2 are factory wires. #1 are wires I replaced (that should help you re-hookup yours). I know one of the #1 wire goes to the battery.. I can't remember the other... I "think" the 2nd wire on #1 is to the alternator..

i have 2 wires on the front on the nut closest to the front of the truck going directly to the battery. I always kinda wondered if this was how its supposed to be. I'd really appreciate a definitive answer on this. Chiltons isnt helpin :(

The two wires (#1 in my pic) go to the Alternator and to the Battery.

If the alternator wire goes to the battery, and from the battery you have 2 wires going to the solenoid then you have basically the same thing as I do, just routed differently. Basically the Battery, alternator and the forward connector on the solenoid are tied together.
