well i ended up picking up a long block 4.0 right from ford , it cost me $3150.00 , but let me tell you it was the most complete long block i've ever seen. it included all new sensors already installed (knock , oil pressure , temp sensor ) , balancer and balancer pully on it , thermostat housing and thermostat and hoses installed , exhaust manifold gaskets and nuts , even came with plugs installed and oil filter and oil in it. basically the only things i needed to buy was upper intake gaskets and anti freeze and new plug wires. 5 hours to install and get running. wasnt bad at all , was kinda intimidated once i took a look under the hood but must say it went well. only problem thus far with the motor was i had a minor oil leak once i started it because they didnt tighten the oil pressure unit all the way.
