I'll be installing these myself, and I'll probably go with Pioneer because of the price and I like their sound. But if someone has model numbers for Clarion thats fine too.

I have a lower end Clarion cd deck, and I want to do the speakers in the front and rear doors of my 93 Eddie Bauer.

I'll look at doing the sub later on.

So yeah lets hear those model numbers! and also how happy you were with the diffrence :)

thanks guys,

Leo

Pioneer TS-A6865 (3 way) and Pioneer TS-A6855 (2 way). They are both 6x8 special fit ford speakers.

thanks!

anyone have these speakers? how do they find them?

I have the TS-A6865. You can get em from ebay or crutchfield.

On crutchfield I see under 6x8 category, 6857 for 2way, and 6867 for 3 way.

are they a newer model?

I've never ordered fmor ebay, if the pricing is that much better i just might :)

Yes, those must be the 2002 models. I have found ebay pricing to be MUCH lower than crutchfield.

i just got a set of new 6865s for 53 bucks US off ebay!!

woohoo! my first auction :)

i had them in my doors. they were pretty good speakers.

i have the new infinity kappa 5x7's in my door i think there the 573.2cf not positive though. look in to them you can get a pair for like 70 bucks
