Ok whats up guys, i haven't been around in awhile. I have been on the jet ski message board a lot more.
Well heres the deal. I am finally getting rid of this piece of a volvo coming up pretty soon... I hate it. I really wish I never sold my old explorer, or flipped the next one I had.
I will have around $14k to spend, plus I will probably throw in some more... at the top $18k.
Anyways, I have been looking a lot. At first I wanted a Nissan Frontier Crew Cab supercharged, (w/o its really slow) but then I learned you have to have premium w/ the supercharger, plus it only gets like 19 mpg anyway, so what the hell why not get a v8 if you gonna do that.
I also am a big fan of the Toyota Tacoma double cab - but finding a 4x4 version in my price range is quite difficult.
So I like Tundras as well, but I think I want more room.
I started looking on Autotrader online, and actually found a lot of 2000+ Tahoes in my range... wow. with 60-70k miles.
Anyways, V8 is good.
edmunds.com gave it good reviews.
Thats my top pick now, if I can find one I can afford - but does anyone have any help??? what else should I look at, look for in a tahoe, etc. My dad has a 1999 suburban now (old platform) and hasn't had to much trouble from it (bought new) and now has 160k but he is on some "foreign cars are good" trip so the tahoe may take some convincing.
