I need to talk to someone with a 98 4.0

Hey, if you have a 98 4.0 i need to ask you a favor. I trying to place my cat. converters and i'm not paying $611 from ford but i did find one for a 98 ranger online somewhere for $239 i think and it was a high performance. Okay, well the favor is to take a picture of your cats and post them on here for me, the main thing is to get a good picture of how they bolt up on the front side. If you could throw in the length of the cat assembly too, that would be great, thanks a lot!!

My friend has a '97 Ranger Supercab 4x4. I looked underneath it today and compared it to my '93, and it looks the same. I'm not able to post a pic, but I'll give you any measurements and detailed descriptions you want. Let me know.

I was beginning to think that no one was going to help me! Thanks, do you know if that would be the same for a 97? I guess i could call ford and ask them. I'll let you know what i find out if you'll do the same, thanks man!!

Is the one you found online for a 4.0 Ranger? Unlike Explorers, Rangers come with 3 different engines.
I would try asking the parts counter guy if they have the same part #, they probably would help you out.
