Thanks to everyone's help here, I went and picked up my "new" '88 3.0 5spd last night! She needs new shocks all around, but other than that, I can't really find much wrong with it. Supposedly 62k on it, but no real way to verify if its 62 or 162k.

Cheers!

It looks like it's in good condition for its age. Take a picture of the interior. What kind of shocks do you want to install? Gabriel Hi-Jackers with cargo coils are good for the rear if you plan on hauling a lot of heavy weight or towing.

I was thinking of either KYB Gas-A-Justs (my fave) or Gabriel Ultras (cheaper, more readily available). I don't see myself hauling a whole lot with it other than the occasionally landscaping load from Home Depot, so I figured a decent quality gas shock would suffice.

Nice ride. Do you have any interior pics?

Did you add the strip of angled diamond plate on the bumper or did the previous owner install it?

That was the previous owner -- its BARELY installed. I'm either going to fix it, get a new bumper cover, or figure out another material to use instead.

The spoiler sold me on the van! It's staying with it! :D

I'll probably see if my coworker, who's a pretty good welder, can weld up something better to cover the rear bumper.
