It's based on a Mazda B2000, sold mainly in South America and Asia. Has nothing in common with the Explorer. It's the SUV Version of the European/Australasian/South American Ford Ranger.

I was in India training my replacements about a year ago, and seen this awesome SUV. It was called the Ford Endeavour. It packed a Turbo 4 cylinder with Disks all around with 6 lug wheels. The interior was nice too. As awesome as this vehicle was, didn't compare to the Scorpio........

Yea we get the Everest here in South Africa too, wouldn't call it an explorer though, just has the same front end as the new ford ranger here. Our trucks are nothing like yours in America, bit smaller and not as agressive. That's why i got me a Ford Explorer!!!

i know the 2011 explorer is the next gen, but you remember when they stop making the taurus and introduce the ford five hundred and freestyle, those where the so called taurus, but they stop making them and brought back the taurus name, could be the same thing with the explorer, that they plan on introducing one of those suvs the endeavour or everest to the us as a explorer

I kind of like the endeavour/everest. Its better than the new explorer. The 2011 endeavour isn't that great looking. Here's some pics:

The Endeavour looks like a mix between a Toyota Sequoia, Subaru Forester, and something else. I like its off roading abilities, but that's about it.
