i think the starter is shot

ok tonight before i went out to leave i used the remote start to start my truck up and it did just fine. well i drove down the road about 4 miles and when i tried to remote start it to leave it acted as though it didnt want to catch, so i was like WTF? well i went and tried to key start it, same thing, all it takes is a little bit of throttle and it cranks right up. so now what do i do?

If it worked with throttle sounds to me like a fuel problem.

Sounds like you might be getting a flat spot on it. Take it to pepboys or something like that and they should be able to test it for ya for free. You can always beat it with a hammer to get it started to.

hmm, i cant figure out what the hell the deal is, the remote start was just put in yesterday. im takin it by best-buy and havin them check it out. but 30 min after i posted this i key started it fine while the remote kept trying and trying. then 20 min after that the remote started it right up with no problem.
