right after i started the X today it stalled. before it stalled, i noticed quickly that the rpm and battery guage were fluctuating. this has done this for about a month now, but this is the first time it ever stalled.
the weird part is, it only does this fluctuating maybe once every 10-15 times i start it. i usually just rev it a little and then the guages even out, or once i begin to drive they even immediately.
if in fact it is the IAC, which i already replaced about 2 years ago, why does it only do it every so often and not every time i start it up?
i'm going to clean it tomorrow with some carb cleaner, maybe it will work.
i also noticed though sometimes that when i take the car out of park or neutral, and put it in reverse or drive, the rpm guage drops to about 500 until i start moving.
