About a month ago i was having a problem where my X would start, rev up and die immediately. It went along with the annoying IAC tube moan. So i replaced the IAC with a new one and things have been well since.
Until yesterday. The stupid moan came back! The weird thing is that my X has never ran better since i put this new IAC on and still run's great. Good startup, warm up, idle. Great power distribution... everything. Just that stupid moan again.
Now what? The IAC is good, the truck runs excellent.

My guess is that all the other related intake parts are dirty and have already fouled up your new IAC.
