IAC Valve question

lets say I replace my upper manifold and replace it with a throttle body,elbow,supercharger from a cobra mustang. The elbow which is inbetween the supercharger and the throttle body has the same mount as my IAC motor, but the way that the iac valve works it will be useless with the different throttle body right?

No, the IAC valve will still do its job and control the idle speed.

ok thanks, I'm glad to hear that. Even with a good tune the car will run like crap without it, especially since I have a/c.
