Ok i have a 00 4.0L sohc, i installed a lightning MAF in anticipation of doin a remote turbo this summer. I have reflashed the EEC for it and it runs great with no issues. Now i know that the explorer has the IAT sensor integrated into the stock MAF. Now my problem is that the lightning has a separate IAT in the lower manifold. After a week of driving with no problems my check engine light came on and i scanned the codes and it comes up with a IAT high imput voltage too high. Is there an easy fix for this like plumbing and wiring a lightning IAT into the manifold or intake hose? My biggest concern is the failure of NYS inspection from the CEL being on.
thanx dave

Not sure how hard it would be, but the 2nd gen explorers have a separate IAT too. You should be able to just hook up any IAT you can I wouldn't think their signals would be too different.
