Are there any Explorers that happen to be running around Idaho? I just got my Tuff Country 4-inch lift kit and 31-inch tires so I was wondering if anybody was wanting to go for a spin sometime. I'm only sixteen so my range is pretty much limited to Idaho as of now. Please do inquire.

Hello!
I'm not from Idaho, but I'm from washington about 600ish miles away. But I also travel to Idaho often, and my boyfriend is from Mt. Home so we go to closer to your area sometimes. I'm 18, and I understand the not being able to go far thing, but maybe we could make something work with more people in the area too( there has to be someone!) for like this spring or something in a month or two.... I have a hard time finding other exploders to wheel with in my area and My ex is out of commision right now( broken ring and pinion thing) but yeah..... I'm bored at work so I'm rambling. Oh and I'm heading up to sandpoint after x-mas to get a carpet kit put in.
Any thoughts?

I live in Northern Utah so trail rides in southern Idaho would not be out of the question for me.

I dont know southern idaho too well, but I'm always down for some wheeling, ESPECIALLY with other explorers. Like I said my ex's 4wd is out of commision right now, but in a few months i would love to plan something. Dewgod, know anyone else in the general area? :)

Southern idaho works very well for me. I can probably go to somewhere near boise too. Any thing works I just want to get my explorer out there and use it! I just had a 2.5" exhaust put on with a flowmaster. Sounds kinda like a car but I'm still proud of it! This spring sounds great! Any ideas on where you fellow 4-wheelers want to go?

I dont know idaho, where is good to go? I would be staying in Mt. Home, wherever that is.... somewhere not too terribly far from that would be cool. Suggestions?

Mt Home is pushing it for me. I wanted to go there when I was in the Air Force. I was stationed with a few people that were there and they liked it there. As far as wheelin opportunites in Idaho I'm clueless. There has to be some though. The only people I know in Idaho are my relatives and they all live on the opposite side of the state from Mt Home. Near Pocatello. My cousin would know where to go in the Pocatello/Blackfoot area.

Well I will be willing to drive, just not terribly far.... If I'm going all the way to Idaho a few more hours wont kill me... and Pocatello is pretty far.... I dunno.

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls. But I moved yeah for me. The possibilities for you all are endless as far as wheelin goes. Targhee and caribou national forests have huge tracks of basically uncharted land, and all of this is surrounded by foothills of varing ownership (foothills are often mountains by Seattle standards. city folk)Any way tis a wheelers paradise. Get yourself a USGS quad map pick a road and go check it out. likely nobody has been down the path in a very long while ;) Lastly heard of Salmon Idaho there is some fun country. With an official ORV area. It has been 7 years since i was in Salmon, so it would be good to see if anything has changed. HMMM

How far is Salmon from the seattle area?
