Have 96 4.0 that runs fine except idle fluctuates all the time. In P/N or D does not matter. Will not stall but just lopes up/down.
Checked all the usual and all good. Have Snap-On MT2500 scanner and just wondering what normal readings are for O2 sensors/system. In closed loop and Upstream sensors are cycling fine. 3rd sensor stays aprox 830 reading and not sure if this is normal???
Truck is great otherwise just pissed because cannot find the cause/fix for this.
Hate "throwing parts" at the problem but thinking 20yrs is a long time for these sensors.
