If i took my rear sway bar complety off would it make a huge difference in highway driving? would i be able to manage driving my 91 on the highway? i dont really drive on "highways" its more like side street driving about 35-45mph and the rest if off road Dead Link Removed any help would be great.

I took my rear sway bar off a few months back and haven't put them back on yet... no problem driving highway, I go about 70-75mph 30 miles both ways to work every day and haven't experienced a big problem. I've even driven for a few miles with my front sway bar off. I have the RS-9000s which help though, they were set to 3.

I have removed my rear sway bar but left the front one on and used sway bar disconnects and longer links to place the sway bar out of the way of the tires. I noticed that the rear sway bar has very little to no effect but the front one being removed causes the front end to do a combination of pitching and rolling making circles. It will do this if you have a full load of people and gear in the vehicle but not if it is just the driver. WIERD, HUH.
