I previously posted a problem with my ignition cylinder on my 2004 explorer because my key wouldn't come out so I purchased a new cylinder with key same thing happened where I was unable to rotate key in position to pull key out . The ignition lock housing the part the cylinder pops into the back part of that housing gets push in with keys and then rotates simultaneously is the part that binds something behind that is preventing it from functioning . I probly didn't need a new ignition cylinder but now I do cause I tweaked the heck out of the old one trying to figure out what the problem was. I'm gonna try removing ignition lock housing it should be a difficult task if I'm lucky
