Okay, so I heard that the 4R70W, while a good transmission, was paired to a faulty torque converter. For a while now, it's been shaking when in overdrive, but now, it almost feels like it's shuttering when I am shifting from park into reverse, and reverse into drive. I always come to a complete stop before I shift into drive. It's also sometimes shutters when I come to a complete stop, then shutters again when I accelerate. I checked the transmission fluid, and it seems fine, so, yes, it (most likely) is the torque converter?

Might be...what fluid are you running in that unit, and do you use shudder fix?

I have no idea... I haven't even had it for a year. The last owner maintained it well, however. I checked the fluid, and it's bright pink and now low, so I don't see that as an issue. The check engine light started blinking today, though. I think it may be something out of my ability to fix.

Low trams fluid can totally make these symptoms. Top it off and see if anything gets better. Just remember auto transmissions are hydraulic in nature. So low fluid can effect them greatly.
