I'm hoping to find an answer. My doors won't open or close.

My grandson has a 1997 Ford Esplorer, runs great, but both side doors won't open . It's like they are locked but not. Looked for child lockwo but couldn't find any. Won't open from inside or outside. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks for the time.. GG

First of all, how do you know it runs great if you are unable to get inside it??

are you talking about the acuators not unlocking the door? or the doors just rusted shut?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 95-01 section. You have to remove the door panel to get to the latch mechanism. It's possible that the plastic rod end connectors broke or came out.
