Hi All,

I'm new to this site but not new to Explorers. I just purchased a gold '02 XLS 5 speed. Traded in a '00 for it. Started with Explorers in '94 with a 4 door 5 speed, then a '97 Sport, '00 XLS and an '01 Sport. I'm mostly into performance mods so hopefully I'll be able to learn and share some info on this topic.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the intro Scott.

It's fun to see people who buy one Explorer to the next. Why stop when you have a good thing. I keep passing a house down the street from me. They have 3 Explorers from 3 different generations, all the same model and color: white Limiteds. One's a 1992-1994, one's a 95-97, and the last is a 1999-2000. It's wild to see them all parked in the same driveway next to each other. Take care and good luck with the mods.
