Ok, I have a 1991 Ford Explorer with the 4.0l and the auto tranny... I was wondering if there is any way I can lower it? I haven't really found any lowering kits or anything at all for it, plus I would love to get it performing alot better because I'm use to building hot rods and this isn't the best performing of them all, lol. Any help would be appreciated alot, thanks.

Here is the picture of it...

People have lowered 1st Gen explorers, but most complain about the ride afterwards.

The rear is easy, as it is an SUA, so all you need are "lift" blocks of your choice to slip between the axle and leaf spring, and longer u-bolts. As for the TTB front end, shorter springs and camber adjusters.

Do a search here, you'll find info.
