Premature Elevation! That is funny. Yeah - I'm impatient - I know. I am gonna do it all at once. I just priced out the next round of mods after this - port and polish the heads and intake, headers, TB, MAF, 410 griind cam and Vortech SC... (according to Sven I'll get 250hop and 300ft/lbs torque). Keeping my fingers crossed. If things go well this week all of this may be done by our June run... we'll see...

I understand your dilema. It would look strange, BUT a good part to this is, you'll notice any odd alignment or driving problems before you install the larger tires. Or you could go ahead with the lift and get some 13" 100 spoke gold rims with white wall tires and .......................*smack*, ok back to reality!

Personally, I'd wait and do it all at the same time.

Not this summer, class will have to come first. Just pause for a few minute to think of me leaning how to solve matricies while your blasting through the mud. Next year will be a different story though. I graduate in May, so June will be wide open. Perhaps if you guys go on a run in NC you could stop by in Columbia and we'll cookout or something.

Put the lift on now! It will help zou find the cash for the gears and tires much faster. Otherwise the stuff will just keep sitting in zour garage. Besides I to buz zour old gears as I want to go to 33s when I get back.

Dude! Nice pic of your truck! You are gonna have to be back by the 16th of June. You will love the run we have going then. a 4x2 can make most of the trails. BTW - Do you want my chrome nerfs? They get in the way and are best suited for a street truck... CYA in a few weeks!

I should be back on the 5/19 if all goes well when we go live. My 2" body lift showed up the day I left and I am itching to get it installed.

I'm going to keep my ugly black running boards for now as they do a great job blocking the rocks from that lousy road I have to drive down each day for work. Besides I am still thing of painting the thing desert tan and blacking everything out...


Keep an eye out for a post and a link I am going to put up. I found a real Hooters in Vienna. Going back Monday night for some fun provided all goes well Monday am..
